BLISS– Spiritual Theme of the Month
WIDE-OPEN: I have come to realize that when I have troubles, it is because I put myself in a cage. It is a very complex self-imposed “cage”; I step-into-it when I am suffering; I can even get nauseous thinking about or dealing with negative life situation. This is because I forget the door of the cage is wide-open . . . all the time. I don’t see it because I get tense, dealing with anxiety or depression. I see the open door when I relax. Throughout my life I can anticipate ‘learning opportunities’ that are very challenging. That is, until I start realizing that I am the gatekeeper. I know I am doing better when I smoothly move in & out of my situations. I take care of myself and my responsibilities easily, quickly and with enjoyment. There is a saying, “absolute vulnerability” . . . and to me it means I am so secure inside, I have nothing to defend; I am solid, open and free; I am wide-open.
