Are you asking, “What can I do to ease the pains and pressures of daily life?”

Being in a relationship … living with another person in my opinion is the most difficult challenge I confront on a daily basis. Why is it such a challenging task just living with someone.

🔥 1. Clashing Differences

∙Habits early bird vs night owl, neat freak vs messy

∙Expectations what love or commitment should look like

∙Communication styles one wants to talk, the other needs space

"Living with someone means discovering you’re not as easy to live with as you thought."

💼 2. Life Logistics

∙Money spender vs saver

∙Housework who does what?

∙Time how much time together is too much?

"It’s not the big fights — it’s the pile of dishes, the loud chewing, squeezing the toothpaste from the top."

💓 3. Emotional Friction

∙Feeling misunderstood or unsupported

∙Losing connection or romance

∙Navigating conflict without hurting each other

"Sometimes the silence between two people says more than any argument could."

To understand the dynamics of a relationship we need to understand how each of us operate.

We all have four psychic gifts, however one of them is the most dominant and this is where we operate from.

The four gifts are Vision, Feeling, Intuition & Prophecy.

Vision

Someone with the gift of vision thinks in pictures, they are generally neat and tidy in appearance and their home environment is well organized.

Challenges of Living with this person: Perfectionist, get upset if things don’t work out as they see them, Environments like the home & car must be neat and tidy. Judgmental of self and others.

Someone with the gift of Feeling: likes to work with their hands, love to touch others when in conversation, great lovers. Highly sensitive when entering an environment and pick up on the energy being positive or negative. For example, they could walk into a party and feel uncomfortable or amazing depending on the energy at the party.

Challenges of Living with this person: Very messy and moody, love to hoard things, difficult to throw things out because they pick up on the energy in the object.

Someone with the gift of Intuition: Born leader, highly intelligent, big picture person, once they understand the project and they make up their mind to commit they are like the Terminator never giving up until they finish. Pushes themselves and others around them extremely hard.

Challenges of Living with this person: Impatient with less organized minds, not good at communicating, has to completely understand what they are getting into. Introverted, introspective and self protective.

Someone with the gift of Prophecy: Outstanding executive, strong concern for the future, has a keen insight into other peoples and situations. They often like to wear the colour purple.

Very creative.

Challenges of Living with this person: Take on too much and spread themselves to thin, critical about everything and must pass judgement on all they encounter. Must be creating or becomes moody. Quickly blaming others for their own faults.

Let’s look at how different psychic gifts would live together, let’s throw them all into melting pot called Earth and see how they do when they are under pressure and out of balance.

Remember when everyone’s happy, well balanced life is running smoothly and in a perfect flow these issues are not a factor.

However, as we all know life doesn’t always run smoothly, we all face challenges every day and this can create stress and can cause us to be out of balance and that’s where the fun begins.

My first gift is Vision, my wife is Feeling, my son is Intuitive, and my wife’s daughter is Prophetic.

The visionary likes the home neat and tidy and sees the future this way, the feeler is messy, unorganized and loves to hoard things creating enormous chaos around the home. This infuriates the visionary and when the visionary secretly throws things out the feeler will go bin diving to rescue the discarded items, this further enrages the visionary because now that dirty item is back in the so called clean house.

My intuitive son on the other hand when we are working on his car together is a whole different ball game. I just see what must be done and jump straight out of the blocks, this infuriates the intuitive as the intuitive needs to take the time to read and understand the instructions before he gets going, this in turn infuriates the visionary as they don’t understand complex written instructions and just get frustrated sitting around wasting time.

Then there is the prophetic that takes on too much, exhausted from a hard day’s work and now at home not in that creative space anymore they become critical about everything, passing judgement and blaming others when things go south.

The courses I have completed at the Wayshowers college specifically around the four gifts gave me the understanding on how people operate and enable me to work with them in a fluid way.

I feel this takes the focus away from their issues and places the focus back on me giving me more self awareness. For example, having the house neat and tidy is probably and old concept that I could consider shedding or relaxing.

Understanding how other people process the world around them helps me to communicate with them in their language so to speak. Let’s face facts, it would be a waste of time speaking French to someone that only speaks English. If I understand how they perceive and operate then communicating in a way that they will understand will create enjoyable and meaningful relationships. This ultimately leads to more peace in my life.
